Installing WordPress

I have now installed WordPress on to my webspace. To do this I had to download the WordPress files off WordPress.org, which I unzipped on my computer and then uploaded to my webspace using the FireFTP add-on for the excellent Mozilla Firefox web browser.
Once the files were on the webspace and I had uploaded the modified “wp-config.php” file with the database settings it was case of simply installing WordPress, which I had no problems with. You can now see the end result of this installation, which is just a basic installation ready for me to modify.
